Dear Colleagues,
It is time to write the triennial report of the working group. The report will appear in the Transactions of the IAU 2006-2009.
In the manuscript we are asked to report over the period September 2006 – June 2008, and project our activities over the period June 2008 – August 2009. Also, our views about the future developments in the field of the WG, and the role WG therein, will be a very important item of the report.

Here is the kind of information that I would like from you (please feel free to send any additional information that you may find relevant for the report)
1) Any meetings, workshops, etc (besides the Vienna CP star meeting last year) related to the field of CP stars, that took or will take place during the period Sept 2006 – Jun 2009;
2) Instruments relevant to the field that became available or will become available during the same period. You can also add their importance to the future development of the field (3 or 4 of lines);
3) Instruments relevant to the field that having become available prior to Sept 2006, have played a major role in the highlight of this research field during the period considered;
4) Major scientific results published in the period from Sep 2006 to date. Please include a brief (two or three lines) description of the result, references, and, when applicable, mention the instruments/techniques that allowed for the new discoveries/results.
